My fellow Artists__ Let Your Art Be The Change You Want The World To Be

I appeal to my fellow Artists around the world on this New Years Eve 2022_  

I challenge all of you to 'Be The Change' to 'Inspire Change' to promote Love, Humanity and Compassion and to join our inherent 'Collective Obligation' as artists to serve all in need upon this earth_ 

We are the progressives, the liberal idealistic minds that inspire advocacy and change, propelling humankind's ascension to a more sophisticated truth, justice and morality__

With this, I challenge my Artistic colleagues to abandon the mediums that reflect the darkness without solutions.  

For too long, we have been Interpreting the ugly without offering answers, imitating the immoral without offering truth, we sensationalize the murderous which only propels further prejudice, hate and tribalism that you we have had to live through for so long.

If we continue to do this within our Artistic ventures, we are simply regurgitating__ re-living the same darkness our opponents embrace.

We have seen how dark the world can become.  

Let us not find the abyss in this.  

For we need something to lead us back. To embrace the journey back to humanity, natural law, spiritual fertility and virtue.

Let us set aside, our pens, our paints, our cameras our dance which we have used to reflect and depict the worlds tempest within our works. The inexcusable wrongs this world has endured.  

We no longer need to be the mirror. 

We need to 'be the change.'  

It has been a noble fight we have all lead:  

Depicting what we find unjust through our Art__ it has been a most gallant venture indeed.  

But to heal, to engage solutions for the plagues we fight, we must create the new Artistic Obligation for saving our civilization from further descent.  

Let us set a new #virtuous, #high-minded, #principled course, that cannot be condemned by opponents who will find no moral ground higher than ours.

Let us refuse to embrace violent revolutionary acts, unethical insults, rampant hatred and destruction within our circle of Artistic Idealisms.  

Let us embrace the higher transcendental artistic collective effervescence_ which we artisans have used throughout history to remind the masses of how a virtuous progressive idealism can advance humankind to a more peaceful, loving and empathetic existence.

I know__  

To you, my glorious artistic friends!... some of you have used your pens as weapons against the evil.  

Your dance has been your response to the hate and belligerence_ 

Your cameras have been your missiles against the machine that has propelled the immorality of this world_  

I too have been a foot soldier in this army of dreamers.

But we have to re-embrace everyone now, instead of separating, segregating, casting out the lost ones_ we must turn to embrace_  

For thousands of years, Artists have guided and inspired society to see the light in life, to see what they do not see see for themselves__  

It is actually there to touch and embrace and use for their own survival__  

We must remind them, teach them and bring them back.


Remind them___


When politics abandons all decency, when Churches have lost their way, when our Heroes have grown far and few between__ 

    __Let the Art we provide create a respite, a solace, perhaps some answers and shelter from the storm.
